Step back in time and rise above it all with this magical two-day trip to Luxor, featuring a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon ride over the timeless wonders of Ancient Egypt. This premium experience combines comfort, culture, and unforgettable beauty — both on land and in the sky.
Your tour will begin with a private, comfortable, and air-conditioned pickup from your hotel early in the morning at 5:00 AM. The journey to Luxor takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. Upon arrival in Luxor, the heart of Egyptian civilization, your dedicated tour guide will meet you to give you a brief overview of the program and accompany you throughout the day. During the day, you will visit the Karnak Temple, famous for its stunning architectural columns that hold many secrets. You will also visit the Valley of the Kings, which contains more than 60 tombs of Egypt’s great kings, each with its own fascinating stories. The most famous of these is the tomb of Tutankhamun, which you can enter for an additional fee. You will also have time to visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, dating back to the 18th Dynasty and famous for its architecture. Afterwards, you will stop at the Colossi of Memnon to learn the story behind these two statues. Your dedicated tour guide will accompany you throughout this tour, who will expertly explain the details and story of each place. In between, there will be a stop at an Egyptian restaurant for a delicious lunch. There will be an optional stop at the alabaster workshop to learn the secrets of these rare stones and purchase souvenirs. After your day is over, you will be transferred to your hotel. You have pre-booked one night with breakfast to check in for an amazing night on the banks of the Nile.
Then, the next morning, at around 4:00 AM, you will be taken to start another amazing hot air balloon ride for a unique experience. You will see the most prominent landmarks of Luxor from the sky at a magnificent sunrise. After spending a pleasant time, you will return to your hotel for breakfast and then begin your journey back to your hotel in Hurghada. After making sure that you had a wonderful time, you will not be left until you have returned to your hotel safely after enjoying your time.
Note: Your tour starts from Hurghada at 5:00 AM, and you will be picked up the next day for the balloon ride start at approximately 4:00 AM. Your return to Hurghada will be at 11:30 AM the following day. You will be contacted after your reservation is confirmed to inform you of the actual pick-up time according to your hotel.
Note: The day before the tour, inform the reception at your hotel that you have a tour in the morning and would like to receive a breakfast box and inform them of the actual pick-up time.
